Tracy Murray
CERAMICS

Tracy Murray is the ceramicist behind Shut Up & Relax Ceramics, formed in Brisbane, 2016. 

Through carefully considered form and creative glazing she creates tableware, vases and other ceramic works to be treasured for a lifetime. 

Tracy has been included in many group exhibitions over the past few years. Her highlights are exhibiting in Paris Design Week 2018, exhibitions in Inverell for AK Bellinger Gallery & the Inverell Art Gallery Contemporary 2020, exhibition in Sydney with Amber Creswell-Bell and awards in the Inverell Art Gallery Art Prize. 

Other career highlights include a 4-page feature in Home Beautiful Magazine, contributing ceramics for Donna Hay’s Week Light Cookbook and having her ceramics stocked in Boon Paris and ABC Home NYC. Closer to home, she created the 2019 and 2020 BIFF ceremonial awards, commissions for restaurants within the Noosa Food & Wine Festival and GOMA Restaurant in the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art. 

Tracy also teaches a series of popular workshops in Brisbane and various regional areas and has an upcoming fundraiser in September for the Charleville Royal Flying Doctors Service.
