Heather Miller
After Gwen

Heather Miller paints at home, following the dynamic rhythm of her neurodiverse family life. Her work is tender, intimate, and intuitive – an expression of her enduring interests in emotion and colour. Without formal art training, Heather has learned mostly through looking at the work of artists she admires, past and contemporary. With her intrinsic interest in human figures and portraiture, Berthe Morisot, Vanessa Bell, and Gwen John have been among the most influential on her practice. Heather’s work has been included in a number of shows including the Salon des Refusés twice and the Portia Geach Memorial Award three times. “After Gwen” is Heather’s second solo show with AK Bellinger Gallery.
