I am a Melbourne-based, Romanian-born Australian artist.  I have always made art and went to Art school in my home country.  When I moved to Australia, I continued my Art studies and continued to paint and teach drawing and painting.

I mostly paint from life, which means I have the subject in front of me, whether it is a still life, an interior or a model.  What is interesting to me is painting my world as I experience it.

This small collection of nostalgic interiors is a recent body of work in my beautiful Art Deco apartment at different times of the day and in particular early light, the time when I usually like to reflect and witness the day coming up.
