Byron Copland

SOLO EXHIBITION

Byron Copland is a visual artist working primarily in oils. He has a passion for the study of nature. The environment in which he works is the impetus for the Art and through its representation he is able to further his understanding of what we see. His work is a documentation of life and the human  experience.

Byron has pursued study abroad, primarily in France, studying with some of
the top representational artists alive today. He has also spent many months of
independent study working in museums, making drawings from some of the
greatest works of art in human history.


• 2012 – 2015 - Studied under Timothy Stotz and Nicole Michelle Tully of
Studio Escalier in their Paris and Argenton Studios.
• 2013 – Julian Ashton Art School, Sydney
• 2012 – 2018 – Independent study in various museums of the world,
making drawings from the collections, studying the artists of the past.
Museums include The Louvre, The V&A, The British Museum, The
Prado and The National Gallery of Victoria.
• 2017 – The Circulo De Bellas Artes, Madrid.
